Words with friends

Why is it that I have an insanely versatile and comprehensive vocab and yet lose this game to almost everyone I play? I mean I have a college degree and hi IQ and still lose by hundreds of points regularly to friends that r 10 years younger than me. Wtf. Guess I suck at scrabble or they r cheating? Idk for reals
